If someone wants to flesh it out, great; probably the actual translation requests should remain at Wikipedia:Translation into English, etc., because that's where the translators are, but this still might be a good way to get some attention for certain requests.'

There are always many articles that are at least loosely related to ethnic groups at Wikipedia:Translation into English and its subpages. They are not always what you might expect. For example, as of October 2006, there are requests to translate:

• extensive articles written in Catalan about the Pa-O and Kokang of Burma
• Quite a list of requests in Wikipedia:German-English translation requests#Languages and peoples
