- Requesting user: Crestfalling (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
- Resource link and title: Ashbaugh, William and Mizushima, Shintaro. Exploring Isekai: Mapping Worlds Through Anime, Manga, and Light Novels, link to book.
- Link to request on RX: Not in scope, since the whole book is relevant
I plan to use the book to improve the isekai article, which lacks high-quality sources despite its importance to the subject area, as well as articles for several isekai series. The book covers isekai from a historical, literary, and cultural perspective, with much of the content not previously explored in academic literature. If this request is granted, the book's contents will be used to the greatest extent possible, and I'll also provide excerpts on request to other editors.
