Restore previous version

[edit]

I have Windows 10 in HP Pavilion, about 3 years old. In my previous windows 7 I could right click on any file and find "Restore previous version" tab. It usually worked. I could find a few prior versions, not in Windows 10. In this link nothing remotely similar is described.. Where is that function? Thanks AboutFace 22 (talk) 20:39, 2 September 2018 (UTC)reply

Well in my Windows 10 I have the same option reached by the same method. I can also do right-click, properties, previous-version tab. But you may have to turn on backup -- see https://windowsreport.com/restore-previous-version-windows-10-not-working/ for what to do. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:49, 5 September 2018 (UTC)reply
