[edit]Windows magnifying apps
[edit]I am seeking a windows magnifier app. I have tried two and neither are quite what I want.
The inbuilt windows magnifier has a cursor but you can't look at the magnifier to move that mouse around as the cursor stays still and the image moves in the opposite direction - it is most confusing.
I have tried "Virtual Magnifier 3.7" from sourgeforce and it behaves very nicely. It moves a magnfying glass around the screen following the mouse. However there is no cursor and you can't "click".
What I want is something that magnifies somewhere in the 2x to 4x region with a window that scrolls around the screen following the mouse and that has a (double-sized/quad-sized) cursor that I can position and then do all the usual actions (left click, right click, wheel click, wheel scroll) etc.
Does anyone know of such an app that will work on Windows 7 and/or Windows 10. (Or of a way of making the ones I've tried behave like my description.)

- SGBailey. it sounds like you're using the "Docked" option of the built-in magnifier. Have you tried using the "Lens" mode instead? It sounds like it does just what you want. Activate it through the Views menu or by Ctrl-Alt-L. Rojomoke (talk) 16:22, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
