How to find a doc's word count in Microsoft Word

[edit]

I would like to be able to determine a document's word length without having to do the counting myself but I can't find anything in any of the menus. How is this task performed? (or has this been removed from the current version of Microsoft Word?) 138.210.199.174 (talk) 18:54, 11 February 2018 (UTC)reply

Look at the status bar. If you right-click on that, I think you can get even more. Andy Dingley (talk) 19:36, 11 February 2018 (UTC)reply
You can press ctrl+⇧ Shift+g, or, in Word 2007 or newer, you can click the Review tab, then click word count, the third button from the right. TheMrP (talk) 02:39, 13 February 2018 (UTC)reply
