Possibly unfree files was for listing and discussing files that are marked as available under a free license or public domain, but have disputed source or licensing information. Files were listed here for 7 days before they were processed.
After community discussion, consensus was established to shut this process down and have all new nominations handled by Wikipedia:Files for discussion.
