Wikipedia:Gray lines

When it comes to interpretation of Wikipedia policies and guidelines, such as those that allow or disallow an article's inclusion, there are gray lines that make it not so simple to give a straight "yes" or "no" answer. There are some guidelines out there that may make it seem that a subject is worthy of an article. Yet there are others that make it seem like it is not. And there are differing opinions among all editors that are not easy to resolve.
For example, the general notability guideline makes it sound as if anything is worthy of an article if it has two or more reliable sources. But there are lots of other guidelines that say otherwise. These include WP:NTEMP, WP:NOTNEWS, and other things that Wikipedia is not. When this is the case, even in the presence of hundreds of reliable sources, it may not be appropriate to include the subject.
