Good article mentors provide assistance and feedback to editors who are new to reviewing. If you are interested in reviewing but are not sure where to start, requesting a mentor can make the process easier. To request a mentor, press the button below and follow the instructions.

Mentors can:

• Help find an article suitable for a new reviewer to review
• Explain any of the good article criteria and how to assess them
• Check a review to make sure it was done correctly
• Answer any other questions about how to review a good article nomination

Mentors are not expected to complete any part of the review. Mentorship is optional, and you do not have to request a mentor to begin reviewing.

I need a reviewer because I have submitted the River Ivel article 3 weeks ago and not a single reviewer has reviewed the article. I need to find out if the River Ivel meets the requirements to pass GA because if it passes GA, my plans would be trying to push the River Ivel possibly to Featured Article.

The GA system currently has a significant backlog, so waiting weeks (or months) is very normal. I see you're already signed up for a review circle, which is a helpful way to expedite the process. Oh I see! I was not aware of the GARC-specific requirements as I haven't participated myself. However, you can still conduct a GA review on your own outside of a circle. Would you still be interested in that? There are several mentors on this page who could help you with the process. Hello, I’d like a mentor. Every few years, I try to contribute to Wikipedia. I have a normal amount of writing ability, and I generally include peer-reviewed articles in my references. I’d like to know enough about the rules and regs that my edits don’t get deleted without an explanation.

Is there anybody who could review the page for MAGA? I’d like to shape this into a « good article. »

BGaffney12 (talk) 18:00, 29 July 2026 (UTC) I am interested in joining a Good Article review circle and learning more about the GA reviewing process. I have been editing science-related Wikipedia articles, including creating the article Biomechanics of baseball pitching, and I am hoping to eventually bring that article through the GA process.

I would like to find a mentor who can help me learn how to review GAs and understand the criteria better. My main areas of interest are Biology and Chemistry, especially topics related to sports science, physiology, and human performance, so I would be especially interested in reviewing articles in those areas.
