Description: This image properly displays KIMEP's logo in English URL: http://www.kimep.kz/files/KIMEP_logo_eng.png License: Fair use. It is available on the KIMEP website, and it properly displays the institute's logo in English, unlike the currently featured logo. The current Wikipedia article and the logo it contains do not properly represent the Institute. Also, as the Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations at this Institute, I give Wikipedia the authority to use our logo in its article. Link To License Information: http://www.kimep.kz/#disclaimer Author/Copyright Holder's Name: KIMEP Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: The Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KIMEP Michaelquinn32 (talk) 05:32, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
Michaelquinn32 Usage is governed by Kazakhstan's law "On Trademarks." The law is in Russian, unfortunately, but this sticks out in the first section "The owner of the trademark has a right to use it in any matter he sees fit." http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kazpatent.kz%2Facts%2Flaw%2Ftrade_mark_law.html Again, KIMEP gives wikipedia the right to use its trademark in this article. It is illustrates the Institute's current branding and public image. And properly displays the logo in English (unlike the logo on the current article). 18:44, 8 July 2010 The file's license can be found here: http://www.kimep.kz/files/President/governancedocs/KIMEP_Charter_2007-eng.pdf (page 4, article 1.16) 4:17, 13 July 2010 |
