Hi. I am the person who uploaded this photo and I don't understand what the problem is. I originally emailed permissions-en@wikimedia.org on 2/1/17 and provided screenshots of a Facebook conversations with the copyright holder (Tim Pickett) indicating his approval. On 9/10/17, Permissions replied back asking for a direct email from Tim Pickett instead. On 9/14/17, Tim Pickett emailed his approval to Permissions and cc'ed me. An OTRS member responded to Tim Pickett in 11/2017, asking him to confirm a license for the file and fill out a release form; he has not completed this step. -FASTILY 21:50, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Just curious - why does he need to fill out a release form? The email he sent very clearly stated his approval to using the photo under the terms of the CC BY-SA 3.0 Unported License. And the email that Permissions sent on 9/10/17 mentioned nothing about needing to fill out a form. I never even heard of anyone needing to fill out such a form before - is this some kind of brand new policy? If so, I would really appreciate it if it could be waved in this particular case, because he very clearly gave his approval as instructed to do and I really don't want to bother him again after all this time. If it can't be waived though I suppose can try contacting again, perhaps through facebook instead of his gridironrecords.com email which is now a usurped domain.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 22:52, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

• @Fastily: The logo is no longer the one used by Moat Community College. Their website however states "Except where otherwise noted, content on this site is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license". I'm not sure whether that extends to their current logo or the previous version we currently have in use here. I would be happy to upload the current version to replace this one but not sure of the licensing. Salavat (talk) 02:48, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

• Generally speaking this isn't the case. Most websites are only referring to text when they make statements like that, not images/media. Anyways, since there's a new logo available, could you upload that under fair use to replace this one? -FASTILY 03:01, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
