Likely copyright violations. Dubious "Own work" claims, low-resolution images
These files have all been uploaded by a new contributor, probably without knowing Wikipedia's copyright requirements. A few more details:
- The first 2 images are published B/W images from 2003 and 2002 respectively, clearly not "own work".
- The third one is likely grabbed from his official parliament bio (very low resolution).
- The fourth one, from an official party event, also has no EXIF and is relatively low-resolution.

The file was proposed for deletion, but de-prodded with "this is NOT a random CD but it is the First CD she ever released and represents her as an artist, so needed for article" being given as the reason; therefore, I am moving the discussion here. Non-free album cover art is generally considered acceptable for identification purposes when it is used as the primary means of indentification in a stand-alone article about the album itself, but a much stronger justification for non-free use tends to be required for other articles as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3. The way the file is being used in Nanase Aikawa is decorative: The context required by WP:NFCC#8 is lacking because the cover art itself is not the subject of a sourced commentary and the reader does not need to see it to understand the little written about the album. Suggest delete, unless a much better justification for non-free use is provided. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:47, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Is this a new thing? I've been here too long. Back in my day, having an album helped to illustrate the artist and their work. Are things things not acceptable anymore? Feel like saying "get off my lawn"! haha Nesnad (talk) 14:41, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
