Image is sourced with a web forum with an assertion it is released to the public domain by rcgroups.net but the permission link points to a page on the US Coast Guard site which does not have this image on it. The RCgroups forum index page states "All RCGroups content copyright © 1996 - 2016 by RCGroups.com." so it's hard to reconcile that statement with a public domain license. Claimed as "own work", but rthe image has a watermark in the lower right corner stating what appears to be "Thomson Photography". The uploader has a history of copyright violations which include lying about copyright status. Examples include Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 April 17#File:Dalailamachrist.jpg where he claimed an AP press photo as one he took, and Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 April 17#File:Assumptionchrist.jpg where he claimed a university photo had been released by the university under a CC license when he knew it was not. Removed from the sandbox. It does not fail NFCC8 in the list as the list includes an image of every unclassified X-Plane; its inclusion as part of the set significantly increases readers' understanding of the topic, and its removal would be detrimental to that understanding. (Also, since the use in Boeing X-50 Dragonfly is not in question, listing at FfD was, IMHO, not appropriate - it should have been WP:BOLDly removed if you felt it was inappropriatly used in some, but not all, cases.) - The Bushranger _{One ping only} 05:16, 7 May 2016 (UTC)

Wikipedia does not need a list of planes which contains photos of the planes. A list would be equally easy to understand by linking to articles about the planes. Therefore, any non-free photos in the list fail WP:NFCC#8. See WP:NFC#UUI §6 and WP:NFLISTS. --Stefan2 (talk) 11:22, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
