Featured and good topics in Wikipedia   A featured topic (FT) is a collection of inter-related articles in which at least half are featured articles or featured lists. The remaining articles must be at least good quality. A good topic (GT) is a collection of inter-related articles that are of a good quality (though are not necessarily featured articles) with a less stringent quality threshold than a featured topic. This page is for the nomination of potential featured and good topics. See the featured and good topic criteria for criteria on both types of topic. Before nominating a topic, nominators may wish to receive feedback by listing it at the Featured and good topics talk page. Nominators must be sufficiently familiar with the subject matter and sources to deal with objections during the FTC/GTC process. If you nominate something you have worked on, note it as a self-nomination. Nominators who are not significant contributors to the articles of the topic should consult regular editors of the articles prior to nomination. Nominators are expected to respond positively to constructive criticism and to make an effort to address objections promptly. The featured and good topics coordinators Aza24, MaranoFan and Kyle Peake determine the timing of the process for each nomination. For a nomination to be promoted to FT or GT status, consensus must be reached for a group to be promoted to featured or good topic status. If enough time passes without objections being resolved, nominations will be removed from the candidates topic and archived. Once the nomination page is created, remember to transclude it in the appropriate section below, to leave nomination templates on the talk pages of the articles nominated for the topic. Supporting and objecting[edit]Please review all the articles of the nominated topic with the featured and good topic criteria in mind before deciding to support or oppose a nomination.
For a topic to be promoted to featured or good topic status, consensus must be reached that it meets the criteria. The FGTC coordinators are usually the ones to assess this consensus and close FGTC discussions. If there is a consensus to promote, the promote instructions are located here. If enough time passes without objections being resolved (at least one week), nominations will be removed from the candidates list and archived. Kim Seon-ho is an South Korean actor and singer. Kim began his acting career starring in stage productions in 2009. He made his television debut in KBS drama Good Manager (2017). He had his breakthrough role as Han Ji-pyeong from Start-Up (2020) and gained further attention with his role as Hong Du-sik in the romantic comedy Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021). For the latter, he was named Gallup Korea's Television Actor of the Year. He also stars as Joo Ho-jin in the Netflix series Can This Love Be Translated? (2026), for which he received a Best Actor nomination at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards and 21st Seoul International Drama Awards. In 2023, he received top billing for his feature film debut in Park Hoon-jung's action noir The Childe (2023), for which he won several Best New Actor awards. The pair subsequently collaborated again on their first streaming series, Disney+ The Tyrant (2024). Alongside his screen career, he continues to perform in stage productions.

This group of articles is an overview of the life, career, and achievements of one of South Korea's hallyu stars. The main article is the second Wikipedia article on a South Korean actor/singer that was ever promoted to GA status and the only one having all of its accompanying lists in feature list status. The Gothic War (535–554) was fought between the Byzantine Empire and the Ostrogothic Kingdom for control of the Italian Peninsula. It followed the Byzantine reconquest of Africa and formed part of Emperor Justinian I's efforts to restore imperial rule over territories of the former Western Roman Empire. A third actor was the Franks, who acted opportunistically during the conflict, at times supporting and attacking both sides. The war unfolded in two main phases. The first began with the Byzantine invasion of Italy in 535, led by General Belisarius, and ended with the capture of Ravenna, the Ostrogothic capital, in 540. In the second phase, corruption among Byzantine commanders who succeeded Belisarius, combined with Justinian's harsh taxation, contributed to a Gothic resurgence. The Gothic king Totila reversed most of the Byzantine gains. In 552, Justinian sent an army under General Narses, who defeated the Goths and dissolved the Ostrogothic Kingdom. Byzantine forces subsequently defeated a Frankish invasion in 554 and reestablished Byzantine control over much of Italy. Despite the imperial restoration, the war devastated Italy's population and economy, making the gains unsustainable. The Lombard invasion of 568 led to the permanent loss of much of the peninsula and marked the decline of Byzantine control over Italy.
This meant to be my first Good Topic nomination, but it took so long that became my second one. The parent article is a vital article 4-level and it became GA in 2018 by Gog the Mild with significant contribution by Cplakidas (not active) as well. Since last December I got fascinated by the topic and decided to make it a GT. I reorganized the 20 child articles (2 merges and creation of 2 more) and brought all 20 articles to GA (and DYK). I also revisited the parent article (46% contribution) to make it consistent with the new information added in the child articles. While not part of the nomination, I also improved the biographies of several characters that appear during the war (e.g. Vitiges, Constantinianus, Theudebert I, etc) to help the reader to know the various characters. To conclude, I admit that I would not had been able to make the current nomination without the assistance of all the GA reviewers whose comments were instrumental in elevating these articles. Saw this at the Former Topics, made no sense it being there with all the articles being Good. Indeed it's still a GT on the talk page. And then I checked the main page of the topic, new pages on genus of this family were created after the topic's promotion and never added in, and while two are GAs, one is nowhere near GA level. I wouldn't really nominate it yet until these things are finished: citation cleaning (like linking the websites on citations), working on personnel/what streaming service to credit, and info about the tour/concerts being more concise and less messy. - For streaming services to credit, I'd suggest using maybe Spotify? It's the only one Gamma prioritizes updating the credits on (for example, Al Be Back's writing credit on "Damn" wasn't added to Apple, as was Glen 'Divinci' Valencia Jr.'s credit on "I Can't Wait".
