Draft:Venkata Subbaiah Karumanchi (filter log) (user filter log)

Description

I tried to create Draft:Venkata Subbaiah Karumanchi at 19:52 UTC on 28 September 2026. The edit was disallowed by a filter described as "Fixed position vandalism"; filters 147 and 148 also logged a possible autobiography. This is a good-faith sourced biographical draft about my great-grandfather, not vandalism. I have a family conflict of interest and will disclose it on the draft talk page if the draft is created. Could an experienced editor review the false positive and, if appropriate, make the edit on my behalf? The draft text is available for review.

Private – One or more of the filters triggered are private, and the request needs to be evaluated by an edit filter helper or manager. – SuperJames888 (Talk to me) 19:58, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

If an editor with access to the private filter has a moment, I'd appreciate a prompt review of this false positive. The full draft text is in my sandbox if that helps. Rkaruman (talk) 21:00, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

Done and a change to the filter may be needed. Was a false positive. Filter change would make sense I think. – Nobody (talk) 05:04, 29 September 2026 (UTC)

This could be fixed with a word boundary on line 17. Codename Noreste /// ⭐️✨ 13:57, 2 October 2026 (UTC)

Note: If the text of your edit contained the @ symbol, this is likely what is triggering the filter. There's almost no reason to publish any text containing that symbol, as even if it's not an actual email address it can be interpreted as one by spammers etc. – Taking Out The Trash (talk) 19:38, 1 October 2026 (UTC)

Report fixed – Another user has fixed the page title in this report. SuperJames888 (Talk to me) 00:10, 2 October 2026 (UTC)

Not done – The filter is working properly. No emails allowed. – Nobody (talk) 10:40, 3 October 2026 (UTC)
