Checking with the edit filter managers to see if changes need to be made. Ignoring the private filter part of this it seems to be working normally. 1233 is designed to catch Long string of characters with no punctuation or markup, and things like 44618742 are indeed what the filter is trying to catch. Except that it's not a "long string of characters containing no punctuation or markup"... it's a message written in Spanish. The filter should only be looking for and catching long strings of random characters containing no punctuation or markup (i.e. gibberish). Good-faith but non-English text != gibberish. ...Which is not a good thing. If we want to have a filter to detect run-on sentences, that should be a separate filter and should be warn-only. A disallow filter like this one should only be looking for strings of random characters that don't actually make any comprehensible words. The trend is legit, with the best sources currently available.

Glegging is an extremely interesting linguistic phenomenon as it is a pattern recognition meme that exists off the internet. Due to this, glegging uniquely combines b=internet brainrot concepts with anti ai slop execution, resulting in an incredible summary of Human language.

Creating a wikipedia page for glegging will allow for the notation and documentation of the trend before it passes onto social media and mainstream internet.
