Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce/Sembawang

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A place in Singapore, looks like this only needs a little work. Added to User:Phroziac's desk.

Moved to unassigned, I got kinda busy. --Phroziac (talk) 14:01, 26 September 2005 (UTC)reply

Now assigned to User:MC MasterChef. Feel free to edit, close or move it on to some other desk! Andreww 09:59, 13 October 2005 (UTC)reply

Accepted, although I may give Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce/National Intelligence Service (South Korea) higher initial priority. MC MasterChef :: Leave a tip 11:20, 13 October 2005 (UTC)reply

Update: With some help from User:Honeydew, most of the original travelogue-type details have been removed and the article cleaned up (although the lead is a little short now). I'm trying to figure out if this image of Sembawang Naval Base, taken in 1945, qualifies as Crown copyright. Assuming it's safe, I'll upload it to the article and probably close this shortly thereafter. MC MasterChef :: Leave a tip 13:25, 20 October 2005 (UTC)reply

Closing - I've sent an e-mail to the Fleet Air Arm Archive webmaster seeking additional information on the base photo's source, in an attempt to see if it's in the public domain, but am not sure what my chances of a response are. The rest of the article looks fairly good, so I'll call this closed for now. MC MasterChef :: Leave a tip 08:51, 2 November 2005 (UTC)reply
