Currently, entries are archived some time after they have been resolved, or if they have gone unresolved for over a year. Archives 11 and up follow this rule and are structured based on when the entries were archived. Before that, entries were only archived if they had been resolved. Archive 11 contains entries that were much older than one year at the time, as the archiving convention had just changed. Archives 1-7 are structured based on the year the requests were made, whereas archives 8-10 contain entries from various years.
