- It was a 2006 merger of full disk encryption, OTFE, and filesystem-level encryption that hasn't gone anywhere since. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cryptography/Archive 2#Disk encryption reorganization. Uncle G (talk) 10:44, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
