The subject of the article does not appear to meet WP:NALBUM. Many of the sources cited in the article either do not provide major coverage of Six, or are primary sources, or are sources that can be considered generally unreliable. I have done a search on Google Books, Google News, and a general Google search, but found no significant coverage of the EP. Google News returned three results: two Fader articles that mention Bunii but not the EP, and an antiMusic tour announcement, written by Warner Records, Bunii's record label, that only briefly lists SIX among his past projects. I have found no independent reviews, interviews, or features covering the subject. eve the eternal (hi) 20:00, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Subject does not seem to meet WP:NBASIC - most of the cited sources have only trivial coverage or are not independent. Article was created in 2013 and deleted via PROD in 2025, then recreated as a draft, and the editor who accepted the AfC in May 2025 was blocked as a sockpuppet of a person with a pattern of likely UPE. There have been no substantive contributions to the article since acceptance (other than me cutting some poorly sourced material), and I found it by looking at orphaned articles. I did basic searches of Google News, Google Books, and Google Scholar, and did not find substantial additional secondary coverage. Dreamyshade (talk) 19:08, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

I can find virtually nothing on this person beyond a passing mention in the history of a park administrative building that "Harry Langley of the NPS Landscape Division designed and supervised the landscaping around the wall and residence soon thereafter." It appears that the places with which he is associated which are NRHP-listed hold this status because of their natural beauty, not the architectural additions to these locations, so the subject is basically a journeyman landscaper/architect building relatively minor structures for the National Park Service in locations that happen to be historic places. I believe that this article is a hoax. For a band supposedly so influential, I was not able to find anything resembling a reliable source. I also couldn't find them listed in any of the major music databases, such as MusicBrains or Discogs. The only thing I could find about this supposed band outside of Wikipedia mirrors is a Facebook discussion alleging it to be hoax.1

- Delete - This article has been sitting here since 2010 and may qualify for one of the all-time oldest at Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia. Well, better late than never. I also can find no evidence that this band really existed. None of their album titles are coming up in searches, and even if they're from 55 years ago they would at least appear in retail sites for old vinyl collectors and such. The band and their albums are not present at Discogs.com, which I know is not a fully reliable site but it is well-known for its geek-worthy lists of every record that ever existed. None of the supposed members or anyone else named is coming up in searches as associated with a band called The Enthusiasts. I did find that there is a real Dr. Adeen Khokhar, but he is an American podiatrist and not a Canadian garage rock producer. Well done, pranksters! ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:55, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Fails WP:GNG. There is no WP:SIGCOV in the academic sources, and I searched the Authors of the cited sources and found that none of them have an education in academic History. Searching "Battle of Jabal Shada" gives no results relating to this war and instead gives results relating to spillovers of the current civil war in Yemen or the "Jabal Shada Natural Reserve" in Saudi. 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 14:54, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

I propose redirecting to Disney Wish because there isn't nearly enough out there for this to warrant a standalone article, and it's a poor candidate for merging. It's questionable if this meets notability standards, as there does exist independent coverage of it, but of limited depth, and it is inherently linked to the notability of the whole cruise ships. Even if was notable, I don't see why information about AquaMouse wouldn't be best covered at the articles about the ships it is installed on. The choice to propose redirecting over merging is due to the cruise ship articles already covering AquaMouse, and the paragraphs of additional detail in the AquaMouse article have promotional concerns and would also be WP:UNDUE if included as-is in the cruise ship articles. It seems like a whole lot of effort for next to no return. Choosing Disney Wish as the redirect target as it's the lead vessel of the class of ships the AquaMouse is installed on. The AquaDuck redirect should be pointed to Disney Dream instead. –Maltazarian ᚾparleyinvestigateᛅ 12:51, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

Performing the second AfD step on behalf of a temporary account as requested at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion § Proposed deletion Arnel David. I have no opinion on the actual proposal and won't watch this discussion.
Justification is lack of notability and self-publishing of the article. Article is about an army colonel of no particular notability, with biographical information either without references or based on self-generated references (for example biographical box on self-authored army article). The press source quoted is actually the local base and internal-comms bulletins and therefore does not represent the significant press coverage required for notability. Also looks to be nearly entirely self authored and self-maintained as User:Army Strategist’s contributions are primarily to this article, a book he co-edited as part of his role in the US Army and a single other US army officer. As noted in Talk:Arnel David the whole article seems to be intended as a personal CV. ~2026-43660-38 (talk) 13:18, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

- What is there to merge? I'd say nothing worth it that's not already in the target. While I still believe the article shouldn't be kept, I wouldn't say this is little known or recently made up either, with Zelenskyy using the term to describe his strategy throughout the past year of the war in 2025 and 2026: being commented on by media like Reuters and legacy media like The New York Times. - Singlish vocabulary (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
Wikipedia is not a dictionary: WP:NOTDICT. All information here is duplicated from Singlish. The section of vocabulary in Singlish is not enough to warrant its own article. Most words are unsourced and not interesting enough to warrant more than a dictionary definition and hence an inclusion in Wikipedia.
Unlike previous discussions, with the last one in 2013:
- The Singlish dictionary launched in 2024 exists, making this an unnecessary resource.
- All information here can be merged into Singlish as Singlish grammar has been split out. Deletion of this article is the same as merging it in, as I have found reliable sources and expanded it at Singlish to the best I can. If Singlish gets too long, the candidate of splitting is likelier to be History of Singlish; this section is too short.
- "Fascinatingness" of Singlish discussed in threads such as here are irrelevant to this article; all information about the "fascinatingness" have since been added to Singlish. Hypnoticreflection (talk) 09:13, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

Delete: per WP:GNG and WP:NOTSTATS.
- Fails General Notability Guideline (WP:GNG): Just because something exists or gets a thumbs up from a governing body (like the ICC) doesn't mean it's notable. Subjects need solid coverage real, independent sources that aren't just echoing the same old stuff. Routine match reports, scorecards, schedules, and event announcements? They count as WP:ROUTINE coverage, not enough to meet GNG.
- WP:NOTSTATS & WP:DATABASE: Wikipedia aims to educate, not serve as a database full of sports stats. Just saying it's useful for statistics or analytics won't cut it if there's no independent coverage backing it up.
- If there aren't independent sources that go beyond routine to show notability, the article should be deleted. Elison Pokhrel TALK 13:19, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
Fails WP:GNG. Citations cover statements by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSR Congress Party leaders promoting MaViGun as a political proposal and election issue, the same is mentioned in this article as well. The sources are reliable but according to me they provide little independent, in depth coverage of MaViGun as a standalone subject. Per WP:NOTNEWS, coverage of current political developments does not by itself establish notability. Any verifiable content about the proposal can be covered in Andhra Pradesh capital issue or YSR Congress Party articles. Wikipicked (talk) 07:14, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Note: this discussion has been included in the AfD sorting lists for the following topics: Politics, Geography, and Andhra Pradesh. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 07:56, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Keep – I am the article creator. The nomination understates the independent secondary coverage available. MaViGun has received direct and non-trivial coverage over several months from multiple editorially independent outlets. Hindustan Times reports not only party statements but internal party reactions, opposition responses and an independent political analyst's assessment. India Today contains dedicated sections explaining why MaViGun was proposed and analysing the competing MaViGun–Amaravati positions. ThePrint examines the political, governance and investor consequences and includes independent trade-body commentary. The Federal directly compares MaViGun with the Integrated Capital Region and discusses financing, land and political implications. This constitutes more than trivial mention and supports WP:GNG; significant coverage does not require the topic to be the sole subject of every source. WP:NOTNEWS cautions against relying solely on routine announcements, but it does not exclude a topic that has received repeated, contextual and analytical coverage rather than a single burst of reporting. The article should therefore be kept and improved with these sources. If consensus considers a standalone article premature, merging or redirecting it to the Andhra Pradesh capital issue would be preferable to outright deletion. Karthik 5678 (talk) 09:53, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- The sources still don't demonstrate significant independent coverage per WP:GNG.They report political statements, about their future campaign, and reactions over the proposal, nothing that clears significant coverage on the subject MaViGun.
- And I feel that the sources don't support the level of analytical treatment that you're saying. According to me, much of the coverage appears to come from the ongoing Andhra Pradesh capital debate and Jagan's election messaging. Politicians regularly put forward policy proposals and campaign themes, but that alone does not make each proposal independently notable. What matters here is whether "MaViGun" has received significant independent coverage under WP:GNG. Over merging, redirecting or deleting, consensus will decide that. I'm still towards redirecting or merging as mentioned in my nom. Wikipicked (talk) 11:29, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying. I agree that routine reports repeating political announcements would not, by themselves, satisfy WP:GNG. My position rests principally on the depth of the independent treatment in the India Today and The Federal reports, rather than on the total number of reports. India Today devotes separate sections to why MaViGun is being proposed and to the MaViGun–Amaravati debate, discussing its political distinctiveness from the earlier three-capital proposal, the competing development and cost arguments, regional political considerations, and the consequences of repeated capital-policy changes for farmers, investors and administration. The Federal separately compares MaViGun with the government's Integrated Capital Region and discusses financing pressure, contractor confidence, land values and the alleged influence of MaViGun on the government's evolving capital-region framing. These are direct and detailed treatments of the proposal, not merely passing mentions or reproductions of an announcement. Under WP:SIGCOV, coverage need not make MaViGun the exclusive subject of the entire publication. I have therefore incorporated the strongest independent material into the article and continue to believe that the available sourcing supports retention as a standalone article, while recognising that the closer will determine whether Keep or Merge best reflects the evidence. Reason Fails to meet GNG with a single source. Proposed for deletion earlier this year as "Tagged as Unreferenced for 8 years", then de-PRODded with erroneous edit summary "all state level pageants have a page", and then a single citation added, which does not constitute a meaningful improvement vis a vis GNG. Weak Keep I think the idea that all states have a page is relevant. Not so much for the fact that well Puerto Rico should have a page too, but in the spirit of covering the Miss USA Teen competition to the most relevant and clear extent. Deleting this article works against that. However, the editing pattern described above does not help the matter and this should receive additional work. - Sorry, no, I'm sure the closer will know that "All examples X of category Y should have a Wikipedia page" is fallacious, everything has to meet the general notability guideline or, more properly, the notability policy. No local discussion trumps Wikipedia policies. Every article is subject to case-by-case scrutiny. ☆ Bri (talk) 20:11, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

Where to begin. The article is clearly AI-generated, for starters, based on the formatting, nonexistent categories (edit: I meant redlinked "see also" entries), malformatted references, pointless tables, and so on. It's also FAR too detailed for a general audience, and provides essentially nothing in the way of context other than linking to the Capital Requirements Regulation (which happens to also make this page redundant). For such a detailed article there are surprisingly few citations, all of which are to primary sources, and none of which are provided with a URL (despite being fairly recent, last 15 years). If I were cynical, I would suggest this is just an AI summary of the technical portions of these primary sources. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 12:41, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

- Keep - While Sister Other Paranoia is currently unreleased, I believe it has received substantial independent coverage that provides a credible basis for notability. The game has been covered by multiple independent publications, including Anime News Network, AUTOMATON WEST, and Game*Spark. This coverage includes its announcement, development, gameplay, an interview with writer and director nyalra, and its first-day Steam wishlist milestone. The article's references document this coverage. I understand that the game being unreleased may make its notability more difficult to establish, but I believe the existing independent coverage should be considered rather than treating its unreleased status alone as determinative. I agree that the current available sources, both in the article and found upon searches, just fall into the category of run of the mill announcements and the like, and it is too soon to see if it will receive more in-depth coverage upon release. But, a valid redirect target exists to use as an WP:ATD, and if it does end up getting significant coverage after release, it can then be easily restored as an article. This was previously nominated for speedy deletion via WP:A7 and WP:A1 but declined each time, which would make it inappropriate for me to tag for speedy deletion a third time.
That said, there is not even an assertion of notability for this brand. The single independent source provided thus far falls way short of WP:CORPDEPTH requirements. There are other hits online but the coverage is similarly thin. For example, Channel News Asia says that the business is run by someone called Charmaine Teo who runs the brand at night while working full-time in beauty marketing in an unrelated job throughout the day. That isn't really significant coverage of the brand, though. The Smart Local briefly mentions an EZ-Link charm design but does not describe the brand in any detail at all. I propose merging this article with Albanian Tower, as they seem to be duplicates, if not POV forks. - I checked the article and I see edit warring and removal of sourced content. My conclusion is "Albanian Tower" is an incorrect, fabricated name coined by Albanian nationalists. The towers at Hilandar do not bear ethnic or nation names. The names are about saints or people (George, Sava, Milutin). In reality, this structure is not a tower but a pillar (pirg in Serbian). It is a fact that a person of Albanian origin, John Kastrioti, donated it in 15th century to the Serbian Orthodox monastery. The correct name for this structure is the Saint George Pillar; however, to avoid ambiguity, I recommend renaming Albanian Tower to John's Saint George Pillar. See ref [1][2] [3]

I propose merging to County Meath because the article has existed since 2007, and could easily be a section titled "symbols" or something. - Comment. While I'm inclined to support a merge/redirect somewhere (as the text is relatively short, has been for a long time, and could likely be covered with improved context in the article on the place the arms represent), I'm not sure the proposed target is ideal. Can the nom elaborate more on the proposed target? What would a "symbols" section in the County Meath article look like? And, perhaps, would Kingdom of Meath not be a better place for such a section (and redirect target)? I say this for several reasons. Not least that the coat of arms given in the infobox for County Meath is the arms of the county council, which is different to the historic arms (and trying to cover both in the article on the modern county could be confusing/complicating)?... Guliolopez (talk) 23:07, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- A symbols section on that article would include details on the county council's arms and the historic arms (and the county colours if theres enough that could be written about them from reliable sources). To get an example; Roxburghshire has a Coat of Arms section, which I imagine this would look similar to
- I do think that merging to kingdom of meath is also a good idea. Maybe both could be done? Dont see any harm in merging to both Froglord (Finnfrog99) (talk) 23:32, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi. While we could perhaps briefly discuss the arms in a "symbols" section of both County Meath and Kingdom of Meath, the redirect (resulting from a merge/redirect) can only be to one title. Personally, as above, I think Kingdom of Meath is a more appropriate target. And, as it stands, don't support a merge/redirect to County Meath. But would support a merge/redirect to Kingdom of Meath. (For the simple reason that the subject arms are not (or are no longer) the arms of County Meath. But are the historical arms of the Kingdom of Meath.) Guliolopez (talk) 12:51, 27 July 2026 (UTC)

- Oppose merge to County Meath, mostly for the reasons laid out by Guliolopez but also because I see no great need for any merge. The article is not too short to be useful (compare Emblems of the Kalmar Union, Coat of arms of Congress Poland etc.). It does the job. Meanwhile, a lot of the (admittedly interesting) info in the current page would be a little extraneous in Kingdom of Meath and County Meath. References in both Kingdom of Meath and probably County Meath as in Guliolopez's latest comment would be helpful. That said, if other heraldry etc. relating to the Kingdom of Meath are found I would support renaming to accommodate them. Taghdtaighde (talk) 23:40, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

- Weak keep provided that the article can be expanded and the SIGCOV can be properly demonstrated. If it cannot be expanded much further beyond its current state then I would suggest merging with Kenmore Air. However I do not consider an aircraft crashing and being completely destroyed by fire to be 'run of the mill'. Cubnorth (talk) 15:34, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Keep or merge. Borderline case, since this is a (hopefully) non-fatal accident involving a small plane, but larger than general aviation. Even if the criteria for a separate article are not met, coverage in the Kenmore Air article is warranted. Sjakkalle (Check!) 20:25, 1 August 2026 (UTC

- Redirect to Kenmore Air#Incidents and accidents as an ATD. This is WP:TOOSOON, it only happened recently and there's not enough widespread coverage to determine if it will meet WP:NEVENT criteria. Redirecting will retain the page history for future update in the unlikely chance this receives enough sustained coverage to meet the mark. nf utvol (talk) 21:33, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Keep. The article meets several criteria. Most importantly, it meets WP:N having news coverage, even in a few foreign countries. It definitely has reliable sources. It even meets WP:Planecrash. The plane was engulfed in a big fire according to news photos. There's not too much left to savage and rebuild. All of the passengers were injured, some needing to be transferred to another hospital. There is a NTSB investigation according to reliable sources. The flight was a scheduled flight. Deaths are not required for a WP article as evidenced by Air France Flight 358 and US Airways Flight 1549. Neither is there a requirement for the flight to be of a huge airline, like United or Qantas, or that the aircraft be jet powered, as in Regional Airlines Flight 9288. In this Kenmore Air crash, 100% of the people in the aircraft were injured, including some in critical condition, broken bones, etc. It is the 2nd worse crash in the airline's 80 year history. Kenmore Air is a very old airline, older than Southwest Airlines, Swiss International, SAS Scandinavian Airlines. Vanguard10 (talk) 22:30, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- keep. Too recent to an deletion discussion, the accident happened 8 days ago. It hasn't even 10 days yet. ~2026-42678-97 (talk) 01:50, 2 August 2026 (UTC) — 2026-42678-97 (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.
CNN reports the plane was consumed, just look at this photo. []
- All of that might be true, but I don't see how that satisfies WP:NEVENT. Need lasting coverage/significance. Not just that it was in the news cycle the days it happened. (And the NTSB automatically investigates such incidents). --ZimZalaBimtalk 22:48, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- It meets WP:EVENT and WP:N. If the criteria is "need lasting coverage/significance" and you apply that criteria in a draconian fashion, then most of Wikpedia should be deleted. How much coverage do you have of the Eastern Air Lines Flight 66 today? None. Yet that crash is still in the minds of many. I just thought to myself, "what was a crash in the 1970's in the New York or general East Coast that I remember" and EA flight 66 immediately came to mind though not the exact flight number. Vanguard10 (talk) 22:56, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- I encourse you to re-read WP:NEVENT and the description of the general inclusion criteria. --ZimZalaBimtalk 22:58, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- I'll echo this back and advise you to read WP:EVENTCRIT#2. An incident that only happened weeks ago is obviously not going to have lasting coverage, as not enough time has passed. 11WB 💬 23:16, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- ZimZalaBim, did you know that your cited WP:NEVENT has a bold section heading of "Don't rush to delete articles"! As far as WP:NEVENT, this article likely meets criteria 1 and 2 and 3 for inclusion. #1. It will likely have historical significance as the 2nd worse plane crash that 80 year old Kenmore Air has ever had. #2, it has coverage over diverse sources, including CNN and at least 2 foreign sources. #3, it has lesser coverage, too. Vanguard10 (talk) 05:28, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Again, the coverage is WP:ROUTINE (don't be wowed by CNN picking up a local news storty that has good video clips for TV). And your claim "It will likely have historical significance as the 2nd worse plane crash" is both WP:CRYSTALBALL and WP:OR (their airline had two incidients with fatalities; why is this worse than one of those?) --ZimZalaBimtalk 12:28, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Not sure how OR is relevant as this is all based on legitimate reporting. EVENTCRIT#2 covers this incident. Reports such as the one I linked in my !vote go beyond standard routine coverage. Whether this ends up as the "second worst crash" is not relevant. AfD cares about notability, which this incident is (as is also evident by the fact consensus is swinging towards keeping the article at this time). 11WB 💬 12:35, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- OR is relevant because Vanguard10 repeatedly has argued notability comes, in part, due to this supposedly being the "2nd worse plane crash" which is an arbitrary opinion of theirs. --ZimZalaBimtalk 14:25, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- OR applies to content actually present in an article. If that opinion were added in, it would be OR, yes. Outside of that it's simply an opinion being expressed. 11WB 💬 14:28, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- See, that's why we need this article!!! Ha ha ha! I didn't know about the crash where the sole occupant was killed. By having this article, we now can compare. This crash had the highest casualties of any Kenmore Air crash but no deaths. In some ways, it's the worst Kenmore Air crash. In some ways, it's the 3rd worse. Vanguard10 (talk) 02:19, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

- @Vanguard10 On the other hand, it also has a bold Don't rush to create articles. I think this is where a redirect would be helpful...it's unclear as to whether or not this will meet NEVENT in the future (I think it's unlikely we'll see much beyond the initial news cycle, save for maybe a regurgitation of the NTSB report when that's published). If it does end up getting wider coverage, then the history is still there and it can quickly be updated and restored. nf utvol (talk) 07:17, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

- Weak keep for now per WP:TSTD: it's too early to determine whether this will have WP:CONTINUEDCOVERAGE beyond the initial news cycle, or WP:LASTING effects and, while most of the existing sources are clearly just routine reporting, there are signs that this accident might attract some WP:INDEPTH reports (I can't tell whether the Seattle Times piece linked above would count, as it is behind a paywall). - Thanks for the archive link. That looks to me like routine reporting: recounting what happened, not analysing it; i.e. WP:PRIMARYNEWS not WP:SIGCOV or WP:INDEPTH. This doesn't make my 'weak keep' any stronger; if this is the best we've got, I could easily get behind a redirect to Kenmore Air#Incidents and accidents as an ATD while we wait to see if any true in-depth coverage emerges. Rosbif73 (talk) 11:56, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- That's a fair position to take. I believe that article is substantial enough to meet the threshold of SIGCOV, as it's at least better than the usual few paragraphs we get in routine incidents. As you know, I've nominated many new aviation articles that pop-up. Usually they are lacking the required coverage. This one is a bit stronger I think. 11WB 💬 13:21, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

- Article was created by the subject, a G11 was rejected as the article was not promotional, and they were subsequently blocked for sockpuppetry, but looking over that I think they were operating in good faith and just woefully unaware of Wikipedia policies. (To be frank, I don't exactly think that was the greatest block.) The article has been subsequently completely rewritten by non-COI editors. The nominator cited WP:NACTOR a few AfDs above this one, and while I'm not all that familiar with how it is usually handled, this actor seems to have starred in multiple notable films (Aaruguru Pativratalu, Buchinaidu Kandriga (film), Prathyardhi), and so I'd say weak keep. 1brianm7 (talk) 06:11, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

1. Sound on Sound Feature: The technical score and sound design architecture article is available here: https://www.soundonsound.com/sound-advice/20-ways-create-cash-your-audio-gear-skills 2. Broad-sheet & Retrospective Press: The film's cultural context and directorial background are featured in broadsheet coverage such as The Express Tribune (https://tribune.com.pk/story/2591579/kites-in-the-sky-stories-on-screen-basant-in-punjabi-cinema-and-music) alongside contemporary print reviews in Scottish press (Perthshire Advertiser, Rough Cuts). I will leave the smaller festival lists aside (although I have researched Samhainbaucogna and it seems to be a well-respected run festival with academics and critics alike), and keep the discussion centered on these secondary media sources. Kcoripop (talk) 20:30, 1 August 2026 (UTC) | |
- The Sound on Sound source does not mention the words "Pendulum" or "Drift". It has a two sentence passing mention of Afzal and Bo Kata which would not be enough to constitute SIGCOV for either of them, but no coverage of Pendulum Drift at all. It is also not a "technical score and sound design architecture" article; it's "20 Ways To Create Cash From Your Audio Gear and Skills."
- The Express Tribune source does not mention the words "Pendulum" or "Drift" either, though it actually is SIGCOV for Bo Kata.
- I think you have confused different cases at AfD. This thread is only for comments on the notability of Pendulum Drift. Please post sources for the other articles only on those articles' threads. M kuhner (talk) 02:21, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Acknowledged regarding the source separation across the deletion discussions. Given that the secondary press coverage for Pendulum Drift is primarily rooted in its international festival circuit run rather than separate broadsheet reviews, I will leave it to the online community and reviewing administrator(s) to evaluate under WP:NFILM, or consider a redirect/merge to the primary biographical article if deemed appropriate. Since the original discussion, the article has been expanded to provide more comprehensive coverage of the 2025 season, including a lead and background section. These are season-specific historical details that would be difficult to incorporate into the main Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer article without either substantially expanding that article or losing useful information. The main Indiana Hoosiers men’s soccer article was also updated to include information related to the 2026 season’s roster and coaching staff, so merging would result in the loss of most of the information from the 2025 season.

- The Personnel Department issued a notification on Wednesday regarding the appointment of four new Information Commissioners in the State Information Commission. The appointments were made under Section 15(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, following Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar's approval. The newly appointed Information Commissioners include Anuj Kumar Sinha, Tanuj Khatri, Amulya Neeraj Khalkho, and Shivpujan Pathak. Their tenure will be effective from the date they take oath. Their tenure will be valid for three years from the date of assuming office or until they attain the age of 65, whichever is earlier. The notification states that the arrival of Information Commissioners in the state will help expedite the disposal of pending cases. Earlier on Wednesday, the Governor gave his approval to the proposal submitted by the state government. Lok Bhavan reported that the Governor approved these appointments subject to certain conditions. He directed the government to ensure the prompt appointment of the Chief Information Commissioner to the Jharkhand State Information Commission. He also clarified that if any procedural error or question arises regarding compliance with Supreme Court orders in the appointment process for Information Commissioners, the state government will be held accountable. This is from one of the sources. Now can you please show me where is the significant coverage. Thilsebatti (talk) 16:10, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment. The article is based on multiple independent reliable sources covering Tanuj Khatri's appointment as a State Information Commissioner of Jharkhand, including Hindustan Times, The Times of India, BHASKAR (NATIONAL HINDI NEWSPAPER), and the official Jharkhand State Information Commission website. I have added these references to verify the appointment and office. If there are specific notability concerns beyond the sourcing of this appointment, I would appreciate guidance on what additional independent coverage would be required. Ziyush (talk) 13:34, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- The article has also been revised to improve neutrality by removing promotional language and ensuring that all significant claims are supported by reliable references. Any remaining editorial issues can be resolved through further improvement rather than deletion.
- Based on the current sourcing, I believe the subject satisfies the requirements of WP:GNG, and I do not believe deletion is warranted. Therefore, I support Keep.
- The article now includes independent coverage from:

- Hindustan Times
- LIVEHINDUSTAN
- Dainik Bhaskar

- Delete. The sources don't seem to be reliable or significant, so I don't think that notability is established. There are also several pieces of nonsense, such as references which are in English or Spanish being described as "in Arabic", and dates which indicate that he was 10 or 11 years old when he received his doctorate. Of course any one of those could just be a mistake, but there are so many obviously false elements in the article that it becomes impossible to have any faith that any of it is reliable. Furthermore, the references don't actually support the content of the article to which they are attached. For example, the statement that Abdelnaser Abdelfatah is a businessperson, politician, and novelist has a citation to a web page which is just a list of rather trivial quotations from him, typical of which are "When the strong touch the happiness of the weak they will realize that their strength prestige and money are nothing but the strong is strong in mind faith love and affection and physical strength is not the same as true strength" and "Fear does not prevent death but it prevents life If you fear life has no value and if you die everything dies". Nowhere does it say anything about his being a politician or novelist. JBW (talk) 03:00, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

- Keep - I don't really see a rationale from initial nominator, but in my opinion it seems fine as an article - nominator seems to be suggesting it's presentability that's a problem but it seems presentable to me. If nominator would like to share a little more about reasoning, i'd be happy to check from that perspective. Jishara (talk) 23:53, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- OK. Why I think it is not well-referenced:
- First ref "Tatar encyclopedia" says nothing, only mentions
- Second ref Трофимова Т.А is from 1947 is unverifiable, possibly outdated.
- Third ref Tataurov, Sergey is about Ayalyn Tatars whoever they are and tobolsk is mentioned in passing
- The section group has one footnote at the bottom a text from online journal fr:Cahiers du monde russe of unclear peer review, does diccuss "Tobol’sk Tatars and their sub-groups: 1) Aremzian-Nadtsi, 2) Isker-Tobol’sk, 3) Babasan, 4) Ishtiak-Tokuz," But it does not support the article text other than suggroup names.
- Genetics section:
- footnote Volkov, Vladimir does speak about genes of dome tobol tatar groups, but all this genetics hardly contribute for notabilyty per WP:PRIMARY, and there is no in-depth coverage of thes groups per WP:GNG. All this genetci stuff is highly tentative and must be cited from generalizing sources, not from some reporta aboyt a dozen of testd persons
- concluding: not adequately sourced, very poor WP:SYNTH in marginal areas, a kind of accepted only by people who do not have a possibility to look in essence. We draftified articles even better than this one. --Altenmann >talk 00:53, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

Relisting comment: I was very tempted to draft this, the citations don't make a lot of sense but there appears to be some sources out there. But as it stands I think relisting might gain a couple more sets of eyes. Experienced editors would be most welcome.

Appears to fail WP:AUTHOR and WP:PROF. I did WP:BEFORE and looked for book reviews for their 2018 book "American Islamophobia" and was able to find one in a peer reviewed journal but couldn't find another. There might be another out there, I did find a lot of commentary about the book and events/talks there were done when the book came out but not reviews.
For the eight criteria in WP:NACADEMIC
- There work does not appear to have a significant impact within their discipline. Their top cited work American Islamophobia is only cited 439 times over eight years.
- There are two awards mentioned the Frederick Douglass Educator Award and the Soros Equality Fellowship. Neither of these are prestigious national or international academic awards
- They do not appear to be elected to an prestigious scholarly society
- Their work does not appear to have a major impact on higher education across multiple institutions
- Is not a distinguished or named full professor, is listed as an associate
- Does not appear to be at the highest levels of academic leadership
- Their work appears to have some impact outside of academia but the sources are all authored by himself
- Does not appear to be a chief editor of a major academic journal
Just a note, it appears that the subject of this article is editing it so I've pinged them about the AfD @KhaledBeydoun:

- List of Assassin's Creed characters (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
This article has gradually turned into a catalog of just about every named character who has appeared in an Assassin's Creed game, regardless of whether there is any real reason to cover them here. The page is now over 400 kB and tagged since 2013. We have individual entries for major protagonists alongside one-off NPCs, multiplayer characters, minor relatives, assassination targets and historical figures who happen to appear in a game. A lot of it is essentially plot summary.
I'm also not sure what the actual inclusion criterion is supposed to be at this point. Brotherhood, for example, has entries for characters like Angelina Ceresa and Margherita dei Campi. They can certainly be verified as existing, but that does not explain why they need an entry in an encyclopedic list of characters from a franchise this large. The same problem repeats throughout the page. See WP:SALAT and WP:NOTPLOT.
This has been discussed on the talk page for years. Others have been were already trying to cut down the plot material and minor characters since 2014, I raised splitting out the historical figures in 2022, and the more recent discussion has again raised both WP:TNT and splitting the casts by game. None of that has really solved the problem, and with every new game the list just gets larger. At this point I think starting again would probably be easier than trying to work out which parts of the existing 400 kB article should survive.
To be clear, I would also be open to Characters of Assassin's Creed [game] articles similar to the Final Fantasy character pages, where there is enough material about the cast's development and reception to support one. Likewise, there seems to be a reasonable subject in the way the series depicts historical figures, which could be dealt with in a separate, properly curated list rather than mixing hundreds of real and fictional people together here per WP:INDISCRIMINATE. I don't see much value in keeping this version purely as a holding place for material which would need to be substantially culled and rewritten anyway. This would be without prejudice to somebody rebuilding the title later with an actual inclusion criterion, or creating more focused character articles where the sourcing supports them.
