Udenu is a Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Obollo-Afor (or Obolo) on the A3 highway.[1]
Udenu LGA has boundary with Nsukka at Nru Nsukka with Orba-Udulekenyi (popularly known as Orba).
It has an area of 248 km2 (96 sq mi) and a population of 178,466 at the 2006 census.
The postal code of the area is 412.[2]
Geography
[edit]Udenu LGA has an average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius or 80 degrees Fahrenheit and a total area of 248 square kilometres or 97 square miles. There are several hills in the Local Government Area, and the average humidity in the region is 57 percent.[3]
