NGC 237 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Cetus. It was discovered on September 27, 1867, by Truman Safford.[2]
NGC 237 is part of a galaxy group known as NGC 192 Group or LGG 10, together with 4 core members: NGC 173, NGC 196, NGC 201, NGC 192 and 1 possible member: NGC 197.[3]
