Timothy Dennis Awany (born 6 August 1996) is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bulgarian First League club Botev Plovdiv and the Uganda national team.

Club career

Awany played for Kampala Capital City Authority.[1]

In July 2019, he joined Israeli Premier League side F.C. Ashdod.[2][3] He left the club in June 2026 after seven years, having made 190 appearances across all competitions.[4] Later that month he signed for Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv.[5]

International career

Awany made his international debut with the Uganda national team in 2016,[1] and was named in the squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.[6]
