Broken?

[edit]

Im pretty sure that this text - {{safesubst:#invoke:Unsubst||$B= - isnt supposed to be shown in article space? I might be wrong. i don't know enough about wikimarkup and templates to try and fix it. VergilSparkles (talk) 18:28, 21 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Waddie96: your 09:35, 21 September 2025 "update" edit is responsible for that issue. That one-word generic edit summary did nothing to explain the rationale behind your edit. Looking back through your edit history, I see Template talk:Soft redirect with Wikidata item#Edit request 19 September 2025 seems to be about where you started down the path of making changes to several soft redirect templates:
Hmm, oh my, I guess you can add my name to the list of (template) editors who are "hounding" you. I'm one of those "other editors" who "will likely be there to pick up the work" he didn't do, but, as you see, it took two whole months for me to show up here. – wbm1058 (talk) 10:40, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
So, you took your {{Wiktionary redirect}} changes to {{Wikinews redirect}} @ 09:32, 21 September 2025, making the same syntax error there. Finally, just yesterday, someone fixed your missing braces. – wbm1058 (talk) 11:06, 30 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
