Flags to specify only volume or issue

Error

As of now the example in the documentation is yielding

(^{&#91, volume &amp, issue needed&#93,} )

• Six months later and it's still like this. I tried changing & to & but the square brackets still display as HTML entities, which probably can't be fixed without changing this template so it knows its context. I don't think usage inside a CS1 parameter actually makes sense. I expect it pollutes COinS in addition to not displaying correctly. Hairy Dude (talk) 11:13, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
