nocat

[edit]

Change nocat=true to also omit Wikipedians interested in computer science, not just WikiProject Computing participants. Tule-hog (talk) 00:35, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

(I think this may be due to the former category being inserted haphazardly inline to the main template, rather than wherever the rest of the template parameter values are stored. I don't know where those values are.) Tule-hog (talk) 01:35, 30 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: According to the page's protection level you should be able to edit the page yourself. If you seem to be unable to, please reopen the request with further details. Left guide (talk) 22:35, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, I am unable to solve the issue - I don't know where the 'WikiProject Computing participants' category is stored on this template, and that is where the 'Wikipedians interested in computer science' should go. Tule-hog (talk) 23:06, 31 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not done - I have attempted to edit the page and remove the straggler cat. However, I don't know how to add the category to be enabled by nocat=false, so for now it is just removed. See {{User WP Computer science}} or just add the cat yourself. Maybe once I get some Lua chops I will try and fix this properly. Tule-hog (talk) 21:27, 8 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Tule-hog, you forgot to close the request by changing answered=no to yes. I've done it for you for this time :) ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 00:51, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
