Template talk:User-t2
Add topicThis is a user template for translators and other editors on more than one Wikipedia. It is based on the {{user-t}} template, which is then based on {{user-c}} (a compressed version of the {{user}} template). It has links to both the user's English-language Wikipedia user page, talk page and their contributions, and also to the user's pages and contributions on one or two Wikipedias in another language.
This template is also for users where their user name is different between the Wikipedias, which is common when the other Wikipedias do not use the Latin alphabet.
Usage
[edit]- {{user-t|username|wp1|wp2|altname1|altname2}} where wp1 and wp2 are the subdomain names of the other Wikipedias, and altname1 and altname2 are (optionally) the user names on those respective Wikipedias. For example: For User:BlankVerse to use it with their user pages on the Simple English Wikipedia, the user could use either {{user-t2|BlankVerse|simple}} or {{user-t2|User=BlankVerse|Project=simple|Alt=BlankVerse}} (if the other username were actually different).

note1: In fact, BlankVerse's user names are the same on all these subdomains, but these examples have been composed as if they were different.
note2: If someone visits this page who actually has user names that are different in the other Wikipedias, please substitute your user names for these examples.
Another user-t template
[edit]This template is for users that have user names on two other Wikipedias. For only one other Wikipedia, it may be simpler to use another template, {{user-t}}, that doesn't have the third and fifth parameters above.
