add spam

[edit]

I would rather add:

|spam = This noticeboard is for blatant violations of the username policy. Consider taking this report to WP:WPSPAM.

To the {switch} tag. --▦Frogger3140▦ (talk) 19:54, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

So spam reports could be taken out of UAA. --▦Frogger3140▦ (talk) 19:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

False positive

[edit]

We could add a fp option, much like on AIV. — Waterfox ~talk~ 21:26, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Adding pseudonyms to sn

[edit]

Proposing adding "pseudonyms" to sn which presently starts with:

  • Stage names and pen names are permitted

To include:

  • Stage names, pen names and other pseudonyms are permitted

I'm proposing this because we're seeing more "gamer tags" (wikt) or usernames that refer to a specific person's content creator username (i.e.: TikTok accounts). I don't think this should be an issue because the rest of the |sn parameter already includes a reference to COIN and as long as the report refers to a specific person and not already covered by the ISU or CORPNAME violations, I think this would be beneficial.  Done as completed without opposition. See Special:Diff/1370912974. Feel free to ping me if you disagree, happy to discuss further. Bobby Cohn 🍁 (talk) 18:01, 23 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
