Python
[edit]I was surprised not to find Python on the list. With ipython, numpy, scipy, pandas, statsmodels and matplotlib it has a considerable component of statistical software in it. — fnielsen (talk) 08:43, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
StatXact
[edit]I was surprised not to find StatXact, a software based on Monte Carlo simulation and exact methods, designed especially for small samples. It is used mainly from professional statisticans (like me).
Programming Languages
[edit]Many of the items on this list are not software; they are programming languages. For example: Julia, Octave, Python, R, MATLAB. I haven't combed through the list extensively, so there are probably others. bse3 (talk · contribs · count · logs) 14:48, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
