Bug: {{sc2}} in link

If {{sc2}} is used in a link, it seems to disable itself for the whole paragraph:

[[STRUT vowel|{{sc2|STRUT}} vowel]] vs {{sc2|LOT}} vowel

Renders as:

STRUT vowel vs LOT vowel

But it should look like this (using {{sc}}):

STRUT vowel vs LOT vowel

For reference, it renders the same as without using the template:

[[STRUT vowel|STRUT vowel]] vs LOT vowel

STRUT vowel vs LOT vowel

I noticed this while editing List of shibboleths § In Canada. I'm using Firefox, if that's relevant.
