Automatic lookup

[edit]

This template has a lot of potential. Would it be possible to have this template look up a publisher's RSP status inline, e.g., Daily Mail (article · reliability), The Wall Street Journal (article · reliability)? This would be save a lot of manual retyping in discussions and reviews. czar 14:04, 15 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Czar, that's a great idea that I had not considered. This would definitely be possible, although we would need to organize the data from WP:RSP into a machine-readable format. There's a suggestion at m:Talk:Cite Unseen#Cite Unseen integrations for how the data can be formatted in JSON for use in the Cite Unseen project, but we would need some other format for a MediaWiki template. — Newslinger talk 22:52, 15 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
