Clarifying NOLLM

[edit]

(conversation continued from Template talk:Prod llm#Inviting improvements)

Since these templates are for the author of the content in question, I've made the following change

You must closely review the content and its sources to ensure that it complies with polices and guidelines, which may require reworking the content.

You [[WP:NOLLM|must remove or rewrite any generated content]], and all content and its sources must be closely reviewed to ensure that it complies with polices and guidelines, which may require reworking the content.

to make explicit that this process isn't a backdoor to WP:NOLLM. Not entirely happy with the grammar. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 14:01, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Looks much better, but which may require reworking the content now feels redundant in a way. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 14:21, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I agree but couldn't find better wording since its technically a distinct statement from the nollm one. Would and all content and its sources must be closely reviewed, and reworked as needed, to ensure that it complies ... or ... must be closely reviewed and/or reworked to ensure that it complies ... flow better at least? fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 15:07, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yep, that would be great! I'd prefer the first one as it doesn't imply that it's a choice left to the editor, but depends on the status of the content. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 15:23, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
My same thought, changed. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 15:59, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
