Wording

[edit]

@Noyster and DatGuy: As of just now, the template displays on my talk page (which is where I prefer to keep reference and informational materials like this) as

> Very low pending changes backlog: 1 pages according to DatBot as at 02:51, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

The construction "as at" strikes me as strange and unidiomatic; "as of" is the form normally used. From Merriam-Webster online]:

Definition of as of
1. :  on, at, from —used to indicate a time or date at which something begins or ends • takes effect as of July 1

There is no entry for "as on":

The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search bar above.

Hi. The {{Pending Changes backlog}} template background color turns to black in certain situations, at which point the purple wikilinks are unreadable as there is no contrast. Also, there is a lot of extra whitespace below the templates. FYI. Having fun! Cheers! {{u|Checkingfax}} {Talk} 22:30, 14 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Checkingfax This occurs when the backlog is at the "very high" level. I've changed the background to a reddish hue, which I hope will prove more satisfactory. If not, feel free to tweak the settings some more in User:Noyster/PCbacklog: Noyster (talk), 00:43, 16 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Dark Mode

[edit]

For {{Pending Changes backlog-short}}, the message displays poorly in dark mode, compared to the normal template. Is there any way to fix this? Axolitl (talk | contribs) 13:30, 22 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Just wanted to say it was fixed. Axolitl (talk | contribs) 04:47, 16 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
