Template talk:Link target

What's this template for?

I'm looking for a template that I think would have a similar name (where I want to show a link followed by its target in small font) and came across this. What's it for? I looked at the test cases but I'm not quite getting it. — W.andrea (talk) 15:36, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

@W.andrea, I think I used it to help reformat a large table. I assume you want

{{{1|}}} <small>{{Link target|link={{{1|}}} }}</small>
