Add topicA linear scale would be more appropriate
[edit]This is a good graph displaying the number of articles in the top 20 language editions of Wikipedia. However, the scale used is not linear (it is logarithmic). This presents the data in a somewhat unclear style. [E.g. currently, the number of articles in the largest edition: English (4,581,414) is more than twice the number in the second largest edition: Swedish (1,812,784). But the graph suggests that the number of articles in the Swedish Wikipedia is around 3 / 4 of the number of articles in the English Wikipedia.] In visual representation of data, I think it is better if the areas of the items (e.g. bars) representing numerical values are directly proportional to the respective numerical values. In this case, it can happen if the scale used is linear. --EngineeringGuy (talk) 01:15, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
