Deprecate & clean up conflicting parameters

This template currently has a large number of conflicting parameters which can cause issues. As part of an ongoing effort to reduce these conflicts and reduce the overhead maintenance required on these templates, I am going to be deprecating and ultimately removing a number of parameters, particularly those that fail to conform to MOS:INFOBOXNAME. I will be listing those parameters shortly, but please chime in here with any questions, comments or concerns about this cleanup! header23 issue

Arrests	test

header23 is currently set to show if |casualties1=, |casualties2=, or |casualties3= are used but there isn't another header after them, which makes the following code look strange as arrests isn't part of "Casualties".

@Gonnym: FYI refactored your comment above to make it part of the larger discussion. Left the content as you wrote it, just refactored it. Looking at the param report these 3 parameters are barely used and can easily be replaced by |injuries=, |missing= or |deaths=. So I'm going to go ahead and simply deprecate the use of these parameters entirely to solve ths issue that you pointed out. --Zackmann (^{Talk to me}/_{What I been doing}) 16:28, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

mapframe-custom is not centred

When a {{maplink}} is used in mapframe-custom it is not centred. I have provided a sample here.

@Commander Keane: That is because you are feeding in the wrong information... If you are doing to do that way, which you really should have to, but if you are doing to, then you need to pass in |plain=yes and |frame-align=center to the call to {{mapframe}}. Description of suggested change:

I propose adding a dedicated rescued parameter to {{Infobox event}}.

The current template has dedicated parameters for Deaths, Injuries, Missing, Property damage, and Displaced, but no parameter for the number of people rescued. This can be a significant statistic for disasters such as floods, earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, and other mass-casualty events.

I propose inserting a Rescued row immediately after Missing and before Property damage. The subsequent row numbers should be shifted accordingly.

The relevant portion of the template would change from:

The rescued parameter should also be added to the template's list of recognized parameters so that its use does not produce an "unknown parameter" warning.

For example, an article could then use:

| rescued = 3,700+

This would be particularly useful for articles like 2026 Nepal floods, where rescued reports has been published.
