Usage

[edit]

Use this template combined with subst will give a link with the clubs name but using the clubs name + F.C. for destination. It is not designed to be used as a pure template call.

Why not use it as a pure template call? What's the point of subst-ing it? HandsomeFella (talk) 18:34, 25 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

{{subst:fc|'club name'}}

If using it is frowned upon (I changed a lot of links to use {{fc|*club name*}} rather than *club name* as it saves space giving the same information, but my edits were reverted), is there any point to it at all? Thanks.Thebof (talk) 08:28, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Example

[edit]

Typing {{subst:fc|Sheffield Wednesday}} gives Sheffield Wednesday.

Change from F.C. to FC

[edit]

Changing this is premature since there has only been a brief discussion on WikiProject Football. Also, changing it before all the pages are moved will break a lot of links, since not all Foo FC redirects exist yet. — sjorford++ 14:09, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
