Not working with Template:Ucfirstletter

This template is not working with {{Ucfirstletter}}. See the testcases. I tried rendering it without the new Parsoid renderer, and the result was the same. This problem came to my attention via this edit, which made me think that this used to work fine, since someone put it in template documentation. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:15, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
