Avoid appending a "!".
[edit]Adding "{{subst:Bump}}!" to a page that's a giant table, as I recently did, breaks the page. Just don't include the exclamation mark, which will be seen by the MediaWiki parser as occurring at the start of a line after the substitution. --Elvey (talk) 15:36, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
