Template:World Sailing displays an external link to a sailor's profile at the official website of World Sailing (formerly the International Sailing Federation or ISAF), the international governing body for the sport of sailing. It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.
 | These URLs started displaying Server error in 2025, even though the sailor's profile can still seen via a search at sailing.org/sailors/profiles/. As a result, this template currently displays an archived link. If a working URL can be found, the template will be updated. |
Usage
[edit]Omit the name parameter to use the Wikipedia article name as the link text.
id parameter
[edit]Used with the Sailor ID, such as AUSER1 or ESPFE. This identifier starts with a three letter country code, followed by two letters for the sailor's initials, and sometimes followed by number to differentiate sailors in the same country with the same initials.

Wikidata property
[edit]Omit the identifiers to use the Wikidata property. Preference is given to World Sailing sailor ID (P11616) since it links to the current website, otherwise World Sailing member ID (archived) (P2804) will be used for links to the former website.
