Usage

The {{WikiProject UK Trams}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every general UK Trams article which do not fit into the following categories, Template:UKTrams Blackpool, Template:UKTrams preserved or Template:UKTrams modern, Template:UKTrams historical, Template:UKTrams proposed and are within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

The parameters are used as follows:

• class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid |class= values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment.
• importance – The article subject's importance within WikiProject UK Trams. Valid values are: Top, High, Mid and Low. Adds articles to the appropriate subcategory in Category:UK Trams articles by importance.
• type – Can either be blank or one of the following: Blackpool, Preserved, Modern, Historical or Proposed.
