Usage
[edit]This template categorizes pages using assessment and importance grades through built-in transclusion. An article's assessment is generated from the class and importance parameters in the {{WikiProject banner shell}} and {{WikiProject Tennessee}} banners, respectively, on its talk page. This template should be transcluded and not substituted (subst:) because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit hundreds of pages.
To use this template, copy the following code and place it on an article talk page:

Other parameters
[edit]- class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid
|class=values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment. - listas – This parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all biographical articles, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for Given Names Surname, use
|listas=Surname, Given Namesso that the talk page will show up in the S's and not the G's of the various assessment and administrative categories). This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. If the article is using {{WikiProject banner shell}} then it is preferable to add|listas=to that template instead of a project banner template. Putting the parameter on more than one template is not required. - attention=yes — the article needs immediate attention
- reassess=yes — request a reassessment for this article
- merge=yes — the article is a candidate for merge action with one or more other articles
- needs-infobox=yes — the article needs an infobox (places in category only)
