Template:WikiProject Stations

Template documentation

This is the WikiProject banner template used by WikiProject Stations to keep track of articles within its scope.

Basic usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

{{WikiProject banner shell |class= |
{{WikiProject Stations }}
}}

Full usage

It is usual to remove any unused parameters from the template call.

{{WikiProject banner shell |blp= |class= |listas= |
{{WikiProject Stations |class= |attention= |needs-infobox= |needs-image= |category= }}
}}

Parameters

• category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.

Notes and alerts

• attention – set |attention=yes if the article needs immediate attention from experienced editors. Use only if another parameter does not cover the need for attention; this should be used sparingly. It is strongly encouraged to also add a section to the talk page explaining what needs attention. This parameter populates Category:Stations articles needing attention.
• needs-infobox – set |needs-infobox=yes if the article needs an infobox. Remember that infoboxes are not suitable for all articles, and can overwhelm short articles. This parameter populates Category:Stations articles needing infoboxes.
• needs-image – set |needs-image=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "An editor has requested a photograph or image to be included in this article to improve its quality." This will populate Category:Wikipedia requested images of places.

Deprecated parameters

• listas – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. Please see Template:WikiProject banner shell for details.
• class – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. See WP:PIQA for more details.
