Usage
[edit]The {{WikiProject Michigan}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:
{{WikiProject Michigan
| importance =
| attention =
| unref =
| imageneeded =
| imagedetails =
| detroit =
}}
Template display formatting parameters:
- class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid
|class=values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment. - importance - a rating of the article's importance within the Michigan WikiProject. Valid values are (case insensitive):
- Top
- High
- Mid
- Low
- attention - This article needs attention.
- unref - This article lacks sufficient references.
- imageneeded - This article needs an image.
- imagedetails - Image suggestion details.
- detroit - Indicates that the page is a member of the Detroit task force
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
