Usage

The {{WikiProject Latin America|importance= }} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner.

Parameters

• class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid |class= values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment.
• importance - a rating of the article's importance; see the Assessment department for more details.
• music-importance - similar to importance (above), but in relation to the music task force, rather than the WikiProject Latin America as a whole
• attention - "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; see Category:Latin America articles needing attention for more details on when this should be used.
• needs-infobox – "yes" if the article requires an infobox; see Category:Latin America articles without infoboxes for more details on when this should be used.
