This is the WikiProject banner template used by WikiProject Hinduism to keep track of articles within its scope.

Basic usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

Full usage

It is usual to remove any unused parameters from the template call.

Parameters

• importance – see #Importance assessment below.
• category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.

Task forces

• phil – set |phil=yes if the article is supported by the Philosophy task force. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Hindu philosophy articles by quality based on the |class= parameter in the banner shell.
• importance – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to the Philosophy task force. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Hindu philosophy articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.
• saivism – set |saivism=yes if the article is supported by the Shaivism task force. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Shaivism articles by quality based on the |class= parameter in the banner shell.
• importance – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to the Shaivism task force. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Shaivism articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.
• krishna – set |krishna=yes if the article is supported by WikiProject Krishnaism. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Krishnaism articles by quality based on the |class= parameter in the banner shell.
• importance – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to WikiProject Krishnaism. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Krishnaism articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.
• swaminarayan – set |swaminarayan=yes if the article is supported by WikiProject Swaminarayan. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Swaminarayan articles by quality based on the |class= parameter in the banner shell.
• importance – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to WikiProject Swaminarayan. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Swaminarayan articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.
• Shaktism – set |Shaktism=yes if the article is supported by the Shaktism task force.
• importance – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to the Shaktism task force. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Shaktism articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.

Deprecated parameters

• listas – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. Please see Template:WikiProject banner shell for details.
• class – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. See WP:PIQA for more details.

This project uses the standard importance scale. Valid values are shown below.
