Usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

Optional parameters

• class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid |class= values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment.
• ibox – the |ibox= parameter should be set to yes, na or needs. Set |ibox=yes if this article has an infobox; set |ibox=na if this article does not require an infobox; set |ibox=needs if this article needs to have an infobox added.
  • When |ibox=needs is set, this places the page in Category:Bristol articles needing an infobox.
• importance – see the importance scale
• listas – This parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all biographical articles, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for Isambard Kingdom Brunel, |listas=Brunel, Isambard Kingdom, so that the talk page will show up in the B's and not the I's of the various assessment and administrative categories). This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. For more information about this, please see Wikipedia:Categorization of people#Ordering names in a category.
  It is not required if an earlier WikiProject template on the same page has its own |listas= set.
• map – the |map= parameter should be set to yes, na or needs. Set |map=yes if this article has a map; set |map=na if this article does not require a map; set |map=needs if this article needs a map.
  • When |map=needs is set, this places the page in Category:Bristol articles needing maps.
• photo – the |photo= parameter should be set to yes, na or needs. Set |photo=yes if at least one photograph is included in this article; set |photo=na if this article does not require a photograph; set |photo=needs if this article needs at least one photograph to be added.
  • When |photo=needs is set, this places the page in Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Bristol.
• category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.
