This is a documentation subpage for Template:WelcomeUser.

This template is used to welcome users to Wikipedia. This template should be used on the new user's talk page.

Usage

Parameters

There are two named parameters:

|Name= – the username of the new user receiving the message

Use the parameter Name to insert the new user's name.

|YourName= – adds the signature of the person placing the template

Example
