Template:Website defunct/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

This is a template to be used in siteboxes for defunct websites. Provide the URL as the first parameter, so that any of the

{{website defunct|http://www.example.com/}}

and

{{website defunct|1=http://www.example.com/}}

gives

http://www.example.com/ (defunct)

(the 1= is required only when the URL contains the equal sign: {{website defunct|1=http://www.example.com/?foo=bar}}; when the URL does not contain the equal sign, there is no difference).

When you want the URL not to be a clickable link, add the |nolink parameter with any non-empty value. So,

{{website defunct|http://www.example.com/|nolink=1}}

results in

http://www.example.com/ (defunct).
