Template:Uw-scripture
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively, please note that articles are meant to represent the viewpoint of the entire body of reliable sources on a subject, and should not give special weight to scripture or other works from antiquity, which are usually considered to be primary sources on Wikipedia. One of your contributions appeared to place undue weight on the claims made by one of these primary sources, which should be used in the context of additional research by relevant subject experts. Claims made by these sources should generally be directly attributed, and not repeated in Wikipedia's own voice. Please take a look at Wikipedia's policies on reliable sources and neutral point of view, as well as the welcome page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thank you.
| This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-scripture}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
[edit]{{subst:Uw-scripture}}{{subst:Uw-scripture|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-scripture|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-scripture||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-scripture|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-scripture}} rather than {{Uw-scripture}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
