This is a documentation subpage for Template:User observes.

This template creates a userbox that indicates that you commemorate the anniversary of an important regional event.

Use

To use this userbox template, place the following line of Wikitext on your user page:

{{User observes|region|year|event|of|picture}}

where:

region is an optional region name (default United States))

year is an optional original event year (default 1776)

event is an optional event type capitalized and linked (default United States Independence)

of is an optional prepositional lead (default of)

picture is an optional x45px image file to be used instead of the region flag.
