Template:User dead/doc

This template creates a humorous userbox that indicates whether a user is alive or dead.

Use

To use this userbox template, place the following line of Wiki markup on your user page: {{User dead|date}}

where:

date is the check date or the date of death in yyyymmdd format

Examples

If the date parameter is today or a date in the future, {{User dead|20260826}} yields:

This user is not yet dead.
Please check back later...

If the date parameter is in the past, {{User dead|20260701}} yields:

This user is dead.
There is no need to check back later.

If the date parameter is missing or is not a number, {{User dead}} yields:

This user may be alive or dead.
